These terms govern your use of Plait, an iOS app made by Plait Inc. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Plait lets you save links to cooking videos, extract structured recipes from their public text using AI, plan meals, and follow other cooks. Plait saves links to videos — it does not host, copy, or rebroadcast video content. Videos remain on their original platforms and belong to their creators.
You must be at least 13 to use Plait. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account anytime in Settings, which removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no automated extraction farming, no attempting to bypass rate limits or subscription gates, no using Plait to harass others or infringe anyone's rights. We may suspend accounts that do.
Extracted recipes, ingredient lists, and nutrition figures are generated by AI from public video text. They are estimates and may contain errors. They are not medical, dietary, or allergy advice — always verify ingredients yourself, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
The Plait app, brand, and design are ours. Videos and their content belong to their creators and platforms. If you're a creator and want a link to your content removed, email us and we'll handle it promptly.
Plait is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plait Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
